“Modern Gardens” – September 2021

In this recent September 2021 issue of Modern Gardens, I was given the opportunity to give my expertise on some of the most important aspects of garden design. One of my most recent gardens is pictured including a sleek dining area, porcelain paving and a beautiful aluminium pergola, with an abundance of flowers to soften the sleek look of the expansive paving.

“Garten Flora” – 2012

We were thrilled to have one of our most productive and ornamental gardens ‘The Potential Feast’ featured in this February 2012 edition of the German magazine ‘Garten Flora’. The garden was created for the RHS Hampton court palace flower show 2011 with the ideal that you can make practical use of limited space and dine al fresco in an edible garden.

“Les Plus Beaux Jardins” – 2021

I was extremely proud to have our very first RHS Hampton court palace flower show 2009 garden featured in this French magazine ‘Les Plus Beaux Jardins’. The garden was extremely dramatic and informative, planted entirely with poisonous plants. It was a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of poisonous plants and not only their toxicology but also their medicinal values.

Vertical Gardens – by Leigh Clapp & Hattie Klotz

I was very excited to have various aspects of gardens that I have created featured in this magnificent, modern book ‘Vertical Gardens’ by Leigh Clapp & Hattie Klotz. I was able to explain the ‘Potential Feast’ garden we created in more detail and really emphasize that you do not need an allotment to grow your own produce, and that the texture and colours of the flowers can make your garden a real work of art.

Buying A Garden – by Alan Sargent

I was extremely excited to be able to share my incite and expertise in this wonderfully informative book by Alan Sargent. Two of my hand drawn designs are featured with an explanation of the process of designing a garden, the importance of a good relationship between the client and designer and various other aspects of the process that I have incorporated over time.
