We transformed this country garden to balance traditional charm with contemporary style. A refined layout connects fragrant planting with standout features, including an impressive swimming pool and a gorgeous shaded seating area , perfect for relaxed outdoor living. Every detail was considered to create a timeless, country space, that’s as beautiful as it is functional.
A real transformation from what was a plain, uninviting driveway without planting, has now become a stunning & contemporary entrance to this beautiful country home. The key to this large garden design project was to frame & soften the property and to create a great first impression.
This modern garden has been thoughtfully designed to complement contemporary living, with a sleek, functional layout that seamlessly blends style and practicality. Fabulous lighting brings the space to life after dark, while a striking outdoor kitchen, surrounded by vibrant planting, sets the scene for relaxed and inviting al fresco dining.
This garden was previously a blank canvas with no interest at all, as well as being very shallow. Within the design of the new garden, we incorporated a feature oak pergola to draw the eye and create the illusion of a larger garden. In addition to this, a new terrace was constructed for the family to enjoy al fresco dining & relaxing, together with the new garden having numerous borders filled to the brim with plants, to attract bees & butterflies.
This luxury new build property was in desperate need of a garden to compliment the fabulous home. We incorporated various features into this garden, such as the superb swimming pool, cool contemporary steel arches leading to a Japanese teahouse, together with a dedicated prairie border to encourage wildlife.
These lovely clients had an interesting brief, based on wanting to connect various purchases collected from garden shows over the years. Pictured is an example of one of the items, now beautifully framed with rich, colourful planting. A curved pathway and semi-circular borders were incorporated into the overall design to create movement and a journey around the garden, bringing everything together perfectly.
This house renovation project called for the creation of a gorgeous country garden. In order to achieve the style these clients desired, some detailed thought was required with various aspects, such as the type of materials chosen. Pictured is an oak pergola smothered with old-fashioned scented roses, adding an element of romance to this now charming home. Also included in the garden is a beautiful dry stone feature wall, acting as a foil to the gorgeous planting.
This luxury new build property needed a stylish, complementary garden. This huge space required impact and a scale to match the large home; one of the ways we achieved this was by creating sharply angled connecting pathways, which produced strong focal points, together with the addition of the crisply shaped outlines of the evergreen domes. Also, planting the sizeable borders with large drifts of colour, complemented the contemporary style of the garden.
This large space started as a blank canvas with no interest or invitation. The new design incorporated an enticing and stylish oak garden room, that was reached by walking through a pathway, framed by an abundance of scented, soft planting.
An impressive and attractive French style water fountain created a powerful feature, together with a bespoke, stone, sculptured sphere nestled amongst pollinating plants. The exciting new garden became a perfect retreat for the delighted clients.
